Video game designers consist of planning, designing, and developing various video games for consoles and computers. Their work often includes collaborating with other designers and developers. It often takes a couple of years to fully design a video game. A designer must also be able to test his/her work out any bugs or problems along with it.

The salary of a video game primarily depends one's experience in the field and what games he/she is participating in. The most experienced of designers may make up to $130,000 a year. Starting out, however, you ay recieve as little as $45,000.
